The Stickershop Completes Automated Production Line With Third IGS Titanium Cutter Installation.
International Graphic Supplies (IGS), a provider of digital cutting and software solutions, has announced the installation of a third IGS Titanium cutter at The Stickershop, a specialist in web to print self-adhesive labels and short run packaging. This latest addition, the Titanium 0806 fully automatic flatbed cutter, completes a powerful, end to end digital finishing line for the Bristol based company.
This strategic investment in the new Titanium 0806 installed in August joins The Stickershop's existing Titanium 2516 flatbed cutter and the Titanium 330-R reel to reel label cutter installed in 2021 and 2024 respectively.
The new Titanium 0806 is a powerful B2 size cutter that fully automates the finishing process from sheet feeding to stacking. Its unmanned operation is ideal for streamlining short run, on demand jobs and prototypes. A key new feature is the reel to cut sheet option, which allows The Stickershop to efficiently produce variable labels directly from a reel, cutting them into pre-sized sheets for finishing. This capability significantly reduces manual labour and speeds up turnaround times.
Complementing the hardware, the newly installed JWPS software provides a vast library of customisable box and packaging designs. The software allows for quick creation of custom sizes and 3D previews, streamlining the design process and ensuring precision cutting with the Titanium 0806.
“We are incredibly proud to see our partners at The Stickershop evolve their capabilities with our technology,” said Peter Flynn, Managing Director at IGS. “The three Titanium cutters - the 2516, the 330-R, and the new 0806 - each serve a unique but complementary purpose.
By also implementing the JWPS software, we have provided a complete end to end solution. This enables them to tackle a wide range of jobs, from short run packaging and displays to on demand variable label sheets, all with unmatched speed and accuracy. This setup demonstrates our ability to provide scalable, tailored solutions that grow with our customers' business needs."
Shane Pritchard, Director at The Stickershop, commented, “Our partnership with IGS has been instrumental in our growth. The complete solution has been a transformative addition to our production line. We are especially excited about the new levels of efficiency this will bring to our short run work and variable label production, and we look forward to our continued collaboration with IGS.”
IGS will be exhibiting at The Print Show at the NEC, Birmingham in partnership with DPS, on Stand P362 22nd > 24th September. Attendees will have an opportunity to see the Titanium 0806 and Cobalt SP800 Single Pass Printer in action.
