During the break the QPP offices were lucky enough to receive two Holiday Hampers, both remarkable for their tactile futuristic print samples.

The initial reaction proved the contents are of great interest because the team dived straight in like an eat as much as you dare buffet.

Thanks to Canon and Elmstok for sending real print samples for appraisal which we will unpack and share here. 

Elmstok first with a print feast printed direct using an  Artisjet Trust UV printer. Printed directly to substrates producing effects including embossing, braille and adding varnish all created with BEC1GO Edison gold award print technology.

Canon's Production Print Portfolio Parcel

A big thankyou to Suad Bawa-Paintsil, Public Relations, Corporate Communications at Canon, for a magnificent array of new business potential samples.

The QPP print team are happy to review the Production Applications Pack and gain a deeper understanding of Canon's Production Print portfolio and media solutions.

This summer hamper pack has provided valuable insight into the breadth of Canon's production printing technologies and the wide range of applications they enable. The media stocks are impressive as they deliver print products that have before now been undeliverable.



Matching the print equipment to the media is an eye opener. Starting with the compact and versatile Canon imagePRESS V900 Series, the impressive print quality samples stand out on top Colour 350gsm, 195  white opaque PolyFilm. This is tear resistant and weatherproof, ideal for menus, signage, manuals ID cards and long lasting tags. 

The trifold  and A4 landscape product sheet sample have been printed with bleed on 300gsm Top Colour Zero satin uncoated wood free paper. High white and smooth, this is great stock. 

Next up is just the ticket. Add value with 250gsm Fine Art Nature and deliver high quality images on matte or textured cotton rag surfaces. Acid free prints are long lasting.

Digital Embellishment Business

Thanks to Canon and Elmstok who bothered to send real tactile samples. Matching new print opportunities with existing and potential new customers is down to us quick print pros at the printface. It always has been. These two suppliers are offering more than just selling you a new box, they are genuinely interested in building new print possibilities to put some new profit in our professional print for pay marketplace.

These suppliers could have told us by text or email with a few web links, but that misses the point that real tactile print sells. The great thing about real print is its shelf life. It can wait for some downtime, just on view on a desk, a read file, or for best practice display on your customer counter or reception.
