Lorna joins Compass with more than 35 years' experience across the asset finance sector, bringing extensive expertise in operational leadership, relationship management, and asset-based lending

Most recently, Lorna spent more than two decades with Close Brothers, where she progressed into the role of Operations Manager and Head of Customer Relationship Management. During her career, she has developed a deep understanding of every stage of the funding lifecycle, from proposal through to payout, portfolio management and facility maturity, while also leading operational teams, implementing policy improvements and supporting complex funding structures.

Her appointment comes at an exciting time for Compass as the company continues to expand its presence across both direct and broker introduced business. In recent years, Compass has made a number of strategic investments in its leadership team and operational capabilities, supporting sustained growth and reinforcing its position as a trusted funding partner for businesses across the UK.
