Nipson SAS looks forward to a bright 2011 with an all new colour product range aimed at the high speed commercial print market. The digital print company will unveil its colour inkjet concept at the Hunkeler Innovationdays in Lucerne (14-17 February 2011)."Offering customers the opportunity to print high speed colour in addition to our well established monochrome systems is the obvious strategy for the future", says Ghislain Segard, Nipson, President. "Our development has been under wraps until now, and we feel that Hunkeler is the ideal vehicle to launch our concept to the market. At this stage in our inkjet system's evolution we welcome active customer feedback, with visitors to our stand in Lucerne having the opportunity to participate with us in building a truly customer focussed solution", Segard adds. "As the migration to colour continues, we aim to take some of the confusion out of the market for those customers wanting colour but not at the expense of unrealistic high volume output at significantly higher capital cost that we have seen with some of the larger systems currently coming to market".Alongside a static colour inkjet system and underlining its commitment to its existing monochrome market, Nipson will show live demonstrations of its flagship DigiFlex solution at the event. The DigiFlex press is a compact, continuous feed high quality solution printing monochrome variable data at speed, cost effectively. Nipson's proprietary process fuses the toner without heating the substrate, so as to eliminate the risk of drying, warping, shrinkage or other degradation. As a result, DigiFlex is able to print on a wide range of materials including coated and uncoated paper, labels, plastics, polyesters, foils and other thermal sensitive stock.
DigiFlex will be printing at the Hunkeler event in a Single Engine Duplex (SED) configuration at 600dpi on pharmaceutical paper (40Gms) at speeds of up to 80.7m/min (268ft). The printer will be using newly developed colour toner to address the increasing demand for applications which use highlight colour. This important technological innovation, combined with the print quality, flexibility and the reliability of Nipson printing solutions, will enable its customers to pursue new business opportunities in the demanding digital printing market."Innovation is the theme for Hunkeler, and we aim to demonstrate to the market we are not only innovating in inkjet technology, but continue to offer innovation in our unique magnetography based systems", concludes Segard. For more information on Nipson's technology or any of the details mentioned above please talk to one of our representatives at Innovationdays 2011 or visit us directly at;  www.nipson.com
